Furniture Connection, Inc is looking for a creative and talented candidate who has a passion for the latest furniture trends.

In this fun and challenging role, as Visual Merchandiser, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest visual standards in the home furnishings industry while presenting a stage in which to display our products. In addition to creating the experience which is our signature, you will be responsible for weekly store transfers and working with management insuring that inventory is maintained at satisfactory levels.

Our team is dedicated to providing the highest level of service possible.


As a Visual Merchandiser, you will:

  • Assist with the tagging and placement of accessories.
  • Ensure the sales floor is displayed to company standards.
  • Receive and price accessories. Accessories are accurately received, documentation properly completed, and accessories are displayed within 2 days of receipt.
  • Accessorize the sales floor, and create beautiful room ideas.
  • Maintain display with the original plan.
  • Update fabric swatches and other simple samples.
  • Assist sales associates with merchandise questions.
  • Request merchandise in order to fill in spaces on the sales floor.
  • Ensure the merchandise in the back room and upstairs storage areas is organized.
  • Perform other tasks as requested by management.
  • Oversee the process of moving merchandise on the floor as requested by the display department or management.

Experience/Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 or older.
  • Retail visual merchandising experience, preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision/self-motivated.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Must be willing to work extended hours as needed.
  • Must be able to operate tools and equipment.
