As a Production Welder (also known as Welding Technician, Welding Specialist), you'll be responsible for production welding and weld repair of castings, dies, molds, fixtures, and other equipment in line with weld procedures and customer specifications. You'll also interpret Product Criteria (PC) and Activity Instructions (AI), operate GTAW welding equipment, apply weld identification, and maintain expected quality levels.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in manual Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) with remote foot control preferred.
  • Ability to successfully complete welders' certification tests in nickel, cobalt, and iron-based alloy groups.
  • Experience in routing out casting defects and blending welds preferred.
  • Ability to operate GTAW Equipment (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding).
