Job Summary: Personal Injury Lien Negotiators (remote) are responsible for managing all aspects of the settlement and cash collection process for PROVE’s portfolio of medical lien receivables and pre-settlement cash advances

Job Duties:

• Represent PROVE in medical lien settlement negotiations with the goal of maximizing recoveries while strengthening our client relationships by providing expectational customer service

• Manage PROVE's settlement pipeline of personal injury cases that are in various stages of the settlement process, including following up on the status of settlement payments once a final payment amount has been agreed upon

• Prepare PROVE's cash collection forecast and present to senior management

• Prepare a monthly settlement analysis, identifying key contributing factors that led to both successful and unsuccessful settlement outcomes and present your findings to upstream departments (i.e., Leadership, Case Management, Underwriting, etc.)

• Communicate directly with law firms and personal injury clients in the course of lien negotiation and resolution

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree

• 5+ years of experience in a role involving lien resolution negotiations or debt collections

• Direct experience in medical lien resolution at a law firm, medical provider, or direct competitor a major plus

• Experience in debt collections and or litigation finance (medical lien and or pre-settlement funding) is a plus

• Prior experience in phone-based roles

• Strong MS Office experience (Word and Excel)

• Exceptional customer service skills and desire to form strong relationships with our clients

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a heavy workload

• Proficiency manipulating data sets in Excel
