Job Title: Heavy Duty Truck Tech Teacher


Our Heavy Duty Truck Dealership is seeking an experienced Tech Teacher to provide skills training classes to our mechanics. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in heavy-duty truck maintenance and repair.


Responsibilities:

- Develop and deliver training programs for our mechanics on heavy-duty truck maintenance and repair

- Create lesson plans, training materials, and assessments to ensure effective learning

- Provide hands-on training to mechanics in our dealership

- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies


Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy-duty truck maintenance and repair

- Experience teaching or training others in a professional setting

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Cummins engine experience is a plus

- Experience with other heavy-duty truck engines is a plus
