Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Video Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network video engineering with expertise in Cisco technologies, Communications Security (COMSEC), and Audio/Visual (AV) systems. This role involves the design, implementation, and maintenance of video communication systems in a complex network environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and manage Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems, including Cisco and AMX platforms.
  • Ensure the secure operation of video communication systems in compliance with COMSEC protocols.
  • Support and troubleshoot AV systems, including integration with LAN/WAN networks.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless operation within Windows environments.
  • Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and security checks on video communication systems.
  • Provide technical support for video conferencing systems, including setup, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for network video systems, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their video communication needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of VTC and AV systems to ensure high availability and reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience with Cisco video technologies, including VTC systems and AV integration.
  • Strong knowledge of COMSEC protocols and experience implementing secure communications systems.
  • Proficiency in LAN/WAN networking concepts and Windows environments.
  • Hands-on experience with AMX control systems is highly desirable.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in complex AV and network environments.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or COMSEC certification) are a plus.
