Job DescriptionJob Description

PC Laptops is currently seeking a Warehouse Shipping Specialist to verify and maintain records on outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products among other duties.

WHAT THE JOB IS:

  • Verify all products exiting the cage for shipment.
  • Keep the dock and shipping area clean and organized
  • Maintain a safe working environment by monitoring safety procedures and equipment
  • Check specifications of materials unloaded against information contained in work orders
  • Follow proper preparation of computers and accessories for shipment to minimize damage during transit
  • Other duties as assigned

ATTRIBUTES WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Able to follow directions
  • Self-motivated. Must be a self-starter with a "can do" attitude looking to be a team player.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to understand general arithmetic.
  • Understand verbal or written instructions; ability to read and understand instructions, lists and billing materials;
  • Basic computer hardware knowledge. Use PC based applications, including, Outlook, and Microsoft Office, internet and web-based applications
  • Ability to practice safe work habits.
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Ability to work full time - schedules may change and vary in hours based upon company needs

  • Starting rate is $13 /hr DOE with bonus program Average earnings of $15-16/hr including bonus)
