We’re currently looking to expand our team with a passionate and skilled Bilingual Dispatcher who can effectively communicate with our drivers and support our residential, commercial, and roll-off lines of business.

Your Role:
As a Bilingual Dispatcher, you’ll be the crucial link between our SW Drivers and our operations team, ensuring smooth and efficient routes while resolving any issues that arise during the day. You’ll interact with customers, sales, operational staff, customer service agents, and mechanics to ensure everything runs like clockwork. Using specialized software, you’ll manage ticket routing and prepare routes for the next day.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous dispatching experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word) is essential.
  • Ability to multi-task and navigate multiple programs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to manage email, telephone, and 2-way radio communications professionally and effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Midday shift from 10am to 7pm, with rotating Saturdays.

Physical Requirements:
This role is primarily sedentary, requiring you to sit most of the time, with some standing and walking. Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds may be required.

What We Expect from You:

  • Efficient Dispatching: Assign drivers to calls as they come in, balancing customer needs, driver locations, loads, and other factors to optimize cost and customer satisfaction.
  • Route Optimization: Collaborate with job sites and service departments to ensure routes are optimized based on customer needs.
  • Staffing Management: Determine daily driver staffing needs to maximize responsiveness and productivity.
  • Customer Communication: Initiate and manage communication with customers while drivers are on-site to resolve pick-ups or address any issues.
  • Problem Solving: Resolve and troubleshoot delivery or pick-up issues to prevent delays and ensure same-day service on missed pick-ups by tracking driver movement.
