Job Description:
Join the dynamic team at Allegiance staffing We are currently seeking a dedicated individual for our Grounds Maintenance and Housekeeping position, which includes both indoor and outdoor responsibilities.Responsibilities:
  • Perform indoor cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in offices, common areas, and restrooms within the college campus.
  • Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste materials to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and other surfaces to ensure a neat and professional appearance throughout the campus buildings.
  • Assist with outdoor grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, watering plants, and removing debris to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the college grounds.
  • Operate equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers safely and efficiently.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe and welcoming environment for students, faculty, and staff.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance and/or housekeeping preferred but not required.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and operating equipment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license required for grounds maintenance tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification (may also get education while you work)
