Shift: Days, 9 hr shifts; 36 hrs/week

Description

As a Radiologic Technologist in the Vascular Interventional Lab, you will be a key member of the interdisciplinary team, contributing your expertise in interventional radiology to provide high-quality patient care. You will work in a dynamic environment, assisting with a variety of vascular and endovascular procedures and ensuring optimal patient outcomes through your specialized skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures, including preparing patients, monitoring their condition, and ensuring their comfort.
  • Imaging Procedures: Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy, angiography, and other vascular imaging techniques.
  • Technical Skills: Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including digital subtraction angiography systems and other radiographic machines.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with radiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to assist with complex vascular procedures.
  • Patient Safety: Adhere to safety protocols, including radiation safety measures, and ensure that all procedures are conducted in compliance with hospital policies and state regulations.
  • Documentation: Accurately document patient information, imaging procedures, and findings in the EMR system (EPIC).
  • On Call: Be available for on-call shifts as required, including occasional evenings, nights, or weekends.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Licensure: ARRT (R) certification required. ARRT (VI) certification preferred.
  • Experience: 2 years of current experience in a vascular/IR lab setting, with a strong background in endovascular and vascular interventional procedures.
  • Skills: Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and performing interventional radiology procedures. Fluency in the CCL (Cardiac Catheterization Lab) or IR (Interventional Radiology) setting required.
  • Vaccination: Travelers must be COVID vaccinated. Medical or religious exemptions will be considered upon request.

  • OT/Holiday Multiplier: 1.25x
  • NBO (Non-Billable Orientation): 8 hrs
  • On Call: Compensation based on the rate provided for on-call hours.
