Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Teamcenter PLM Architect to lead the design and implementation of PLM solutions for our automotive client based in the Midwest USA. As a remote worker, you will play a crucial role in defining the architecture, ensuring scalability, and optimizing the performance of our PLM systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the architectural design and development of Teamcenter PLM solutions for the automotive sector.
  • Define and enforce PLM best practices, standards, and guidelines to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
  • Analyze client requirements and translate them into architectural blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Oversee the customization and configuration of Teamcenter applications to meet business needs.
  • Integrate Teamcenter with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
  • Provide strategic guidance and technical leadership to the PLM development team.
  • Conduct performance tuning, optimization, and scalability assessments of Teamcenter environments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of PLM solutions with business objectives.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the PLM domain to recommend innovative solutions.
  • Review and approve technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and test plans.
  • Mentor and support junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in PLM architecture and development, with a focus on Siemens Teamcenter.
  • Deep understanding of PLM principles, methodologies, and the automotive industry.
  • Expertise in Teamcenter architecture, including BMIDE, ITK, SOA, and Active Workspace.
  • Proven experience in integrating Teamcenter with ERP, MES, and other enterprise systems.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, and scripting languages.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to drive project success and manage client relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and manage distributed teams.
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies is highly desirable.
