MECA Therapies , LLC is hiring  for  Behavior Technician (BT), Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), or Board-Certified Autism Technician (BCAT)

 The BA/RBT/BCAT is responsible for the delivery of ABA services to clients and families. Responsibilities will include direct service delivery, documentation, material development for treatment sessions, and tracking client progress.

Education and Experience:


• Be at least 18 years of age;
• Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; and
• Successfully complete a criminal background registry check
• An RBT must complete 40 hours of ASD training including but not limited to training about prevalence, etiology, core symptoms, characteristics, and learning differences, in addition to any other BACB requirements.


General Requirements:
• General knowledge and experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis
• Services and/or knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Windows, Excel, database management and record keeping.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
• Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The Behavior Technician and Registered Behavior Technician will operate within Local,
State and Federal Regulations as well as adhere to all MECA policies and procedures.
Essential duties include but are not limited to the following:
1. Consulting with Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
2. Receiving and completing training on policies and procedures for the ABA program
3. Receiving and completing training on specific ABA strategies
4. Utilizing appropriate stimulus materials and treatment modalities for age and ability of the person served
5. Giving clear concise instructions in presenting materials and/or techniques in therapy.
6. Recording and tracking daily progress within the Rethink system accurately and timely
7. Utilizing time in sessions efficiently to meet objectives.
8. Including the client/family in the implementation of treatment and training families on specific treatment strategies and carryover skills for the client/family
9. Providing accurate and immediate feedback to the client and/or family
10. Ensuring that all timesheets are accurate and completed timely
11. Ensuring that time sheets are submitted according to MECA Therapies policy and procedures.
12. Completing other duties as assigned.


CASELOAD ASSIGNMENTS
The BT/RBT will be assigned a caseload of clients/families in need of ABA services.
• Completing a minimum 30 hours of direct supports per week


PRODUCTIVITY
The RBT will achieve the expected productivity set by MECA Therapies
• Achieving 80% productivity performance goal


DOCUMENTATION
The BT/RBT will accurately collect data on clients served and will ensure that documentation is accurate and completed in a timely manner by adhering to the following:
1. Documenting therapy sessions accurately and timely
a. The RBT will document a summary of session and verify in the Rethink system.
b. The RBT will verify their session within the final 15 minutes of session.


STAFF DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING
The BT/RBT will comply with all mandatory trainings identified by their certification board as well trainings mandated by MECA Therapies by adhering to the following:
1. Complete 40-hour RBT training
2. Pass RBT competency assessment
3. Pass RBT Exam
4. Maintain RBT certification
5. Attend RBT Monthly Meetings
6. Attend meetings with Supervising BCBA


SUPERVISION
BT/RBT will receive supervision from their Supervising BCBA. Supervision will be provided according to the BACB Guidelines and MECA Therapies by providing in-person or virtual supervision the BT Providing clinical management meetings with the BT to review client progress and programs.


QUALITY ASSURANCE
The BT/RBT will maintain quality services for the persons served by adhering to the following:
1. Acknowledging and respecting the rights of persons served at all times.
2. Ensuring that direct services are provided diligently and according to the clients treatment program.
3. Ensuring all therapy and related activities are ethical and in compliance with MECA policies and procedures and BACB Guidelines.


POLICIES, PROCEDURES AND GUIDELINES
MECA staff must adhere to all state and federal guidelines and standards as applicable, as well as MECA policies and procedures.
