United States Fittings, Inc., located in Twinsburg, OH, provides custom pipe fittings to the world's most demanding industries through our exceptional relationships with pipe, valve and fitting distributors. Our product line includes laterals, crosses, true wyes, tees, shaped nipples, and spool pieces, in both Carbon and Stainless Steel.

We are seeking welders to join our team. Direct Hire, Full Time, First Shift, 40 Hours/Week


Skills Required/Responsibilities:

  • Welding MIG / TIG / 6G or working towards certification
  • Operate machinery including forklifts, power tools and hand tools, welding equipment, cutting torches, steel saws, etc.
  • Reads and understands blueprints, welding symbols, and job instructions.
  • Welds in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
  • Operates manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using available welding methods
  • Determines the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
  • Sets up components for welding according to specifications
  • Repairs machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
  • Tests and inspect equipment for damage and wear and tear
  • Maintains equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
  • Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly

Pay / Frequency:

  • $18.00 starting rate / Bi-Weekly
