This is a temporary position expected to last 4-8 weeks, and is 100% onsite at our Bohemia, NY office. The pay for this position will be $20 per hour.

This position requires a U.S Person or a person who can qualify for a Department of State or Department of Commerce License.

Position Summary:

Inspect and evaluate precision parts and assemblies using various tools and gauges, approving or rejecting items based on detailed inspections, and documenting findings and preparation for customer inspections.

Key Position Accountabilities:

  • Inspect precision parts, sub-assemblies, final assemblies, first-piece, in-process and incoming parts using inspection tools and gages
  • Set up and use gauging and measuring instruments for checking work
  • Approve or reject all items inspected. Identify reasons for rejects, write up inspection reports as required and record test data
  • Perform visual inspections of electrical connections for purely mechanical faults and/or electrical continuity verification
  • Prepare product and documentation for Customer Source Inspections

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or vocational training
  • Minimum of 3 years of inspection experience
  • Ability to read and understand blue prints and schematics
  • Must adhere to company procedures for working in a cleanroom environment
  • Must be able to lift up 20lbs
