  • Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, reach, lift, carry, bend, kneel, squat, and stoop;
  • Also required to climb, push/pull, balance, crouch or crawl, talk, speak, and hear
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • May be occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts and/or vehicles, high/precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, various degrees of cold and heat, items of bulky or varying weight
  • Must have considerable mobility, and be able to stand and/or sit for long durations of time

Responsibilities

  • Safely operates equipment to stock, fulfill and move products in an efficient manner
  • Safely and efficiently operate all power equipment including: forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Complete all documentation required for proper operation of equipment
  • Maintaining inventory control and accuracy through processes and systems set forth by

  DeHaven Chevrolet and General Motors

  • Receive inventory, stock shelves, pick orders, package orders and ship orders
  • Check and restock merchandise, inventory, inspect for damage, and verify bin contents
  • Maintain work areas by keeping areas clean, neat and orderly
  • Able to use scanners in conjunction with the DMS system
  • Check and restock inventory, inspect for damage, and verify counts
  • Meet and maintain accuracy and production goals
  • Completion of maintenance sheets, daily maintenance of inventory, and report discrepancies to supervisor
  • Comply with federal, state, local, OSHA, and company policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Perform other duties and/or work in other departments of work location as assigned
  • Wear appropriate footwear protection and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed by Company policy;
  • Acknowledgement of and adherence to all Company policies and procedures as contained within the DeHaven Chevrolet Handbook
