Seasonal Videographer

West Chester Township has an immediate need to fill a Seasonal Videographer position. The Seasonal Videographer serves as Township support during the busy fall event season (September 1st – November 15th). The position includes assisting with video production assignments such as high school sports, meetings, and other similar activities; supporting Township marketing efforts; and performing some clerical functions such as preparing reports and maintaining records. This position reports to the Director of Public Information & Engagement and will be part of a team that handles marketing and communications – events, social media, photography, video production, graphic design – for the Township.

The position has flexible and diverse work hours, with evening and weekend work required. This position is seasonal and will require 20-25 hours of work per week. The pay range is $16.00 - $19.00 per hour.

Required qualifications include:

  • Minimum high school diploma. High school seniors may be considered.
  • Some demonstrated experience in video production/editing
  • Current valid driver’s license
  • Must be 16 years of age.

Preferred qualifications include:
  • Customer Service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent public relation skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other departments and public


The hiring process includes: panel interview, background check, and drug screen.

Position is open until filled, with first review beginning 7/29/2024.
