AMDEX is looking for an Operations Research Analyst SME in support of Cyber Security operational processes.
- Use advanced analytical skills and experience and apply operations research methodologies to solve complex problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop models, and implement solutions that optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Attend regular meetings with key stakeholders to understand the agency's goals and available resources, enabling them to analyze operational details.
- Interpret data and identify areas needing operational or structural modifications and develop feasible courses of action.
- Create presentations to executives to articulate the problem, key considerations, courses of action, and cost-benefit analysis.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- 10+ years demonstrated experience in applying operations research methodologies to solve complex problems.
- Must have strong attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple tasks while providing strategic insights to understand the big picture and solve significant current problems.
- Must have experience with advanced analytical tools as well as the ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be adept at evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Attention to detail and a strong ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy are essential.
This position is contingent on contract award.
