Children Minister - Cana Church

Children’s Director Offering:

Passionate about shaping young lives through biblical discipleship? Looking for a pro-kid, pro-family, biblically concerned and missionally driven church? Cana Church is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children’s Director to join the vibrant community. Cana Church Burleson is looking for the right person with the experience and calling to disciple children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and expand the children’s ministry programs, ensuring the programs align with the theological values and principles.

Organize events and activities that engage children and families, fostering a deep, communal relationship with Christ.

Manage and execute administrative and budgetary aspects of the children’s ministry.

Recruit, train, and mentor volunteers and staff involved in the ministry.

Collaborate closely with the pastoral team to ensure that the children’s ministry complements the broader church objectives.

Sample of Qualifications:

A demonstrable calling to Christian vocational ministry aligned with the character requirements of 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:6–9.

A minimum of five years of experience in children’s ministry, with proven administrative and leadership skills.

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a master’s degree in theological studies is preferred.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in using media tools to promote church events and activities.

Ability to pass a stringent background check and uphold a safe and nurturing environment for children.
