OverviewAs the Senior Accountant you will be responsible for maintaining a complete and accurate general ledger, and ensuring accurate and effective financial reporting for the organization. We're seeking a professional team player who is detail-oriented and can take initiative
Responsibilities
  • Maintain an accurate general ledger for effective financial reporting.
  • Coordinate accounts receivable cycle to ensure timely and accurate revenue collection.
  • Contribute to the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, including capital asset classification.
  • Complete various bank account and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepares responses to requests for information from external auditors.
  • Monitors transactions of various fiduciary accounts and prepares various financial schedules and investment reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments to evaluate processes and recommend efficiencies.
  • Performs work on special projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • 2+ years of recent experience within an accounting position
  • Proficient with full-cycle accounting functions
  • Intermediate experience with GAAP
  • Experience with financial analysis and financial reporting
  • Advanced skills within MS Excel
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills

Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00AM - 4:30PM)
Compensation: $35.00 - $42.00 Hourly + Parking
