POSITION SUMMARY

The Driver is responsible for safely and time-effectively transporting cargo to businesses and residential properties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Making deliveries daily to appropriate destinations.
  • Interact with clients professionally at all times.
  • Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
  • Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed.
  • Arrive at destinations on schedule.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Must be presentable and friendly.
  • Ability to be on the road 8 hours a day.
  • Well organized with a keen attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and strong team player.
  • Effective time management, able to prioritize tasks.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass initial and random drug and alcohol test.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical requirements for this position are typical for a mobile employee including constant movement within a wide range of office environments, climbing, standing, reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping and lifting 50+ pounds.
