Work Hours:

Full-Time (40 hours per week) Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the company vehicle while ensuring the safety and well-being of those being transported.
  • Maintain the company vehicle including, but not limited to
    cleaning, fueling, inspection, and maintenance.
  • Transport clients and/or packages to and from destinations
  • Arrive at destinations on schedule
  • Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups
  • Research and plan for traffic, construction and weather
    delays
  • Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
  • Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
  • Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed.
  • Keep mileage records and repair records up-to-date
  • Comply with CHNS policies and procedures related to: annual employee health screenings in accordance, safety protocols, compliance with corporate, state, and federal safety guidelines.
  • Exercises caution and good safety judgment in uncertain
    conditions or situations.
  • Reports and/or corrects potential or actual hazards.
  • Respects and observes residents, clients, and participants'
    rights and privacy.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to
perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed
below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Driving experience is required.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record

Valid CPR and First Aid certification

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here represent those that
must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential
functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly
required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to fingers, feel, reach, talk, hear, see, drive, and assist clients entering and exiting the vehicle.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10
pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

While performing their essential functions, employees are occasionally exposed to the following conditions: snow, rain, thunder, long drives, parking, and the need for flexibility.
