PURPOSE:

The Speech Pathologist is responsible for providing speech and language treatment for patients utilizing First Steps Programs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Schedule and conduct First Steps Therapy sessions according to individual needs.
• Evaluate therapy results and make recommendations regarding treatment.
• Participate in division and agency meetings.
• Maintain accurate records and data tracking of patient treatments.
• Maintain great communication and professional relationships with clients, family members, and co-workers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must have at least a Master's degree in speech and language therapy. (Required)
2. Must be licensed or in the process of applying for licensure by the Indiana Board of Examiners in Speech Pathology and Audiology. (Required)
3. Must be ready to complete or have completed the Clinical Fellowship Year or have at least applied for the Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA (Required)
4. Driver’s license (Preferred).
5. Good Communicator, Dependable, and Compassionate
