Job Overview: X-Bow Systems is in search of a Safety Director who will oversee our extensive safety programs, ensuring adherence to the stringent standards of the defense industry while safeguarding our workforce's welfare. This crucial role demands the deployment of dynamic and innovative safety strategies, regulatory compliance assurance, and the promotion of a culture of proactive safety awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Safety Solutions Leadership:

• Develop and guide safety programs that cater to the defense sector's unique needs, using innovative solutions management to establish industry safety benchmarks.

Expertise in Regulatory Compliance and Solutions Management:

• Ensure strict compliance with defense industry regulations through a proactive and informed approach, focusing on solutions that enhance safety standards.

Solutions Management for Safety:

• Champion the identification and implementation of solutions with a strategy that incorporates creative problem-solving and encourages active organizational engagement.

Promoting a Solutions-Focused Safety Culture:

• Foster a culture where safety is paramount, motivating all levels of X-Bow Systems to commit to the highest standards of safety as a fundamental operational principle.

Proactive Solutions Implementation in Incident Management:

• Efficiently manage safety incidents with insightful solutions management, creating an environment where every challenge is an opportunity to strengthen our safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Preferred academic background includes a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Safety Engineering, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or related fields, but significant experience in defense contracting safety management may substitute.
• Professional safety certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH) are highly valued.
• At least 7 years of experience demonstrating a deep understanding of the defense sector's safety challenges, with a focus on implementing effective solutions.
• A history of innovative and strategic approach to safety solutions, with proven leadership capabilities.
• Proficiency in leveraging technology and software for safety enhancements, with an openness to adopting innovative solutions.
