Your day as a PT Behavior SpecialistJoin Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Part-Time Behavior Technician in the STRIDE Program in Saratoga Springs and American Fork, Utah where you'll play a crucial role in providing individualized support to clients. Your responsibilities will include supervising clients, planning activities, crisis management, teaching living skills, and documenting behaviors. Engage in staff meetings, review documents, monitor client behaviors and medication responses, administer medications, and prioritize client safety.

Requirements for this PT Behavior Specialist jobTo excel as a Behavior Technician at Wasatch Behavioral Health, candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED along with at least one year of post-high school education in social work, psychology, or a related field. While one year of general work experience is preferred, it is not a strict requirement. The ability to navigate center vehicles when necessary is advantageous, although not mandatory. Proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not essential for this role. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, empathy, attention to detail, the ability to work collaboratively in a team, and a genuine passion for helping others improve their quality of life.
