The Operations Manager reports directly to the Direct of Operations and is responsible for the realization and execution of the production strategy. The qualified candidate will provide day to day leadership to the shop floor foremen and team to develop and implement a daily execution plan to meet Safety, Quality, Reliability and Productivity goals. This position will work closely with other departments to manage daily prioritization and communications for the plant operations.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Familiar with typical chemical process equipment
  • Good process safety knowledge
  • Basic chemical and materials knowledge
  • Experience in leading a production unit
  • Team player and leader sense, have experience in leading and developing a team
  • Continuously improving sense
  • Good interpersonal skills

Desirable Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Data sensitive and analysis skills
  • ISO, HACCP
  • Understanding of safety rules and regulations
  • Six sigma and lean knowledge and experience
  • Conflict resolution
  • PHA and MOC knowledge
