Position: Respiratory Care Practitioner
Current Opportunities: Multiple Shifts Available
Division: Corrections
Location: Soledad, CA

Professional Qualifications:
  • A solid foundation of at least twelve (12) months of relevant experience in the past three years within either public or private healthcare settings.
  • Active licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in California, complemented by credentials from the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • Completion of an educational program in respiratory therapy, accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care or its predecessor, ensuring a comprehensive understanding and skill set in respiratory care practices.
Role Expectations:
  • Deliver respiratory care that aligns with the latest evidence-based practices, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
  • Expertly manage respiratory care equipment, from setup to patient instruction, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough medical evaluations, collaborating closely with medical staff to recommend and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Diligently maintain patient records, with a commitment to timely and accurate documentation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of respiratory therapy services, including policy development and equipment assessment.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities, including in-service training and participation in projects that enhance service quality and efficiency.
