Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition SummaryCEI Engineering Associates is currently seeking an Engineering Department Manager at our corporate office in Bentonville, AR. Top candidates will be skilled in team leadership, project management, business development, and client service management. This position will lead and manage a team that is responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating engineering technical specific work, as well as managing a team of engineers for projects varying in size and complexity. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform duties as the engineering manager to support the services offered by the Company.Apply sound engineering principles and be able to communicate complex engineering issues and concepts to technical and non-technical clients and project teams.Plan for and execute the recruitment, selection, training, mentoring, and development of all employees in the department.Set priorities, assign tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet project targets and milestones.May be responsible for resource management, project scheduling, budgets and forecasts, and working with external vendors, subcontractors or contractors.Ability to develop written proposals to clients for both small and large projects.Experienced in evaluating, and producing complex field data, and assembly in written reports.Demonstrate a commitment to follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects for incident and injury free operations. Promote Safety and Wellbeing of employees.Promote continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects. Monitor quality standards and practicesKey RequirementsBachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, and four years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Professional Engineers license requiredExcellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsStrong leadership, delegation, project management, and budgeting skillsValid Driver's License, acceptable driving record, and ability to occasionally travel overnightAbility to regularly work long hours CEI Engineering Associates, Inc. is a full service Civil Engineering, Planning, Landscape Architecture, and Land Surveying consulting firm.
