Position Summary:

The Plastic Recycler will be responsible for ensuring all plastics are being sorted, shredded on a timely basis with attention to detail being extremely important. This position reports to the Plant Manager and will have growth opportunities for a dedicated and results driven individual.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Complies with safety rules and regulations on an everyday basis.

· Accurately picks & sorts multiple components of plastic materials.

· Sorts & separates material by type of product SKU # and places product in designated location.

· Safely and efficiently operates machines to shred and grind plastic material.

· Occasional operation of a powered industrial truck is required

· Regular attendance is an essential function of this position, including arriving at your workstation on time at the start of your shift and after rest and meal periods.

· Quality of work is key to ensure all material is separated and identified properly.

· Will require working knowledge of the ERP system and specific functions needed to complete the job.

· Achieves production rates as set forth by manager, supervisor or lead.

· May act as a subject matter expert or trainer for a small cell of employees during peak periods.

· Maintains housekeeping in accordance with company standards.

· Assists, when necessary, with other production and/or warehouse related duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

· At least 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing plant is ideal.

· Previous powered industrial truck operation desired
