Your Role:

As an Infant Teacher, you will play a crucial role supporting the lead infant teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for our young learners. Your dedication to our core values will help instill a sense of belonging, curiosity, and love for learning in each child.

We are looking for someone who is patient, creative, and dedicated to helping children thrive. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of early childhood development and a genuine love for working with young children.

Hours are 8-4 or 7:30-4 M-F. NO NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS :)

Infant Assistant Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for preschool students
  • Help supervise children during classroom activities, playtime, and outdoor play
  • Provide individualized attention and support to children as needed
  • Assist with daily tasks such as meal times, nap times, and diaper changes
  • Communicate regularly with parents and provide updates on their child's progress

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with young children preferred
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices in early childhood education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude
