Job Summary
Chiropractic Assistants will assist the Chiropractic Physicians in running the office and assisting with patient care. Chiropractic Assistants play an INTEGRAL ROLE IN THE GROWTH OF THE PRACTICE. The Chiropractic Assistants will answer the phones, schedule appointments at the front desk, and take payment. The Chiropractic Assistants in the office play a direct role in patient care as well.

Responsibilities

• Answer the phone at the clinic as well as schedule New Patients that call in.
  • Monitor Customer Relations Manager and ensure it's running smoothly
• Greet patients when they enter the clinic and build connections with the current patient base
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Explain recommendations for care and ensure patients understand them.
• Perform data entry in the EHR utilized.
• Describe products available for purchase at the clinic and process payment for the same
• Keep patient files up to date, enter appropriate charges, and process payment
• Assist Chiropractors, as needed
• Understanding Insurance Billing, Insurance Verification, and Accounts Receivable
  • Be able to perform an insurance verification
  • Understand Billing Codes + charges
  • Be able to relay this information to the patient
• Social Media Management to drive new business

Requirements

• At least 2 years of customer service experience
• Passionate and positive about helping others achieve long term progress and results
• Work history that demonstrates an ability to multitask in a high volume clinic
• Superior communication skills (verbal & written) with the ability to connect with people while motivating them to achieve their goals
