Early Intervention for Autism is looking for a part time ABA therapist in the North Shore suburbs, Illinois areas. We provide in home ABA therapy for special needs children.
Educational Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors Degree in ABA or related field (education, psychology, human development, etc.) is preferred, but not required.
Experience working with children with autism is preferred, but not required.
Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail for data collection.
Exercises good judgment.
Ability to communicate professionally.
Strictly adheres to HIPPAA rules and regulations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Executes ABA therapy programs under the supervision of BCBA
Maintains daily data collection as prescribed.
Follows behavior intervention plans and uses appropriate behavior management techniques as prescribed.
Assists client with daily self-help skills as needed.
Ensures client safety at all times.
Ensures daily communication with parents to inform them of the clients day.
Reports to work on time.Collaborates with other members of clients team and family.
Keeps a positive attitude and works well with team.
Maintains client confidentiality per EIA policy and HIPAA Privacy Rule Regulations
Adheres to all EIA policies and procedures.'
