Job DescriptionJob DescriptionGeneral Statement of Duties:
Under the direction of the Aquatics Director or Senior Program Director, the lifeguard provides excellent customer service while maintaining safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas. The lifeguard creates a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement in accordance with the Family Y of Greater Augusta policies and procedures.
Entry Requirements:
- American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification preferred; willing to certify upon an interview and completion of background check
- CPRo (1-year expiration), First Aid, AED
- 16 years old
Shift: Must be available Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:00AM-9:00AM
