Position Overview
Warehouse/manufacturing combination position with shared emphasis on warehousing duties and hose assembly duties within the Brecksville facility.  This is a full-time position, M-F, 7:30 – 4:30 pm. 
 

• Assembles purchased components, package, and ship as designated by customer requirements; 
• Reviews and prioritizes daily shipping orders when received;
• Pulls all parts as indicated on the shipping orders, assembles components as necessary.
• If needed, calls freight carriers indicated on the shipping order and completes required paperwork;
• Loads and unloads trucks as necessary.  Inspects containers and material and reports any damage or missing items. 
• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records;
• Determines method of shipment;
• Affixes shipping labels on packed boxes; posts weights and shipping charges and affixes postage;
• Assembles cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers;
• Inserts items into containers, binds the container with the appropriate tape and stamps the identifying information onto the containers;
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with buyer to rectify any shortages; 
• Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications;
• Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies;
• Operates forklift to move, convey or hoist shipments;
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience

• Reads and follow written work instructions
• Possess strong mathematical skills,
• Able to measure and read/interpret blueprints when needed
• Able to use standard hand and power tools
• Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs.
• Ability to become forklift certified (we can train)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Possess accurate keyboarding skills (for data entry).  To perform this job successfully, an individual should have Microsoft Office and Outlook knowledge.  
• Individuals must score 70% or higher on the Mechanical Aptitude test.
