Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Support: Assist the orthodontist & our pediatric dentists during various orthodontic & restorative procedures, including but not limited to, the application and removal of braces, fitting of orthodontic appliances, adjusting wires, placing resins, and placing SSC.
  • Patient Care: Prepare patients for treatments, ensuring they are comfortable and well informed throughout their visit.
  • Radiography: Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as prescribed by our dentists.
  • Sterilization and Disinfection: Maintain a sterile and clean working environment by adhering to infection control protocols and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
  • Records Management: Accurately record patient treatment information, update patient charts, medical histories, and maintain detailed notes on each patients progress.
  • Patient Education: Provide patients with oral hygiene instructions and post-treatment care guidelines to ensure optimal results.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage supplies and materials, ensuring the practice is always well-stocked.
Qualifications:

  • Orthodontic Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthodontics is (Preferred)
  • Radiography License: Current dental radiography license. (REQUIRED)
  • Expanded Functions: (REQUIRED)
  • Coronal Polishing/Caries Prevention: (Preferred)
  • CPR Certification: Current CPR certification.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using dental software and digital radiography systems.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
