Machine Millwright

Starting pay $25.00 per hour and up depending on experience.  Plus receive a 5% shift premium for AWS days and 20% shift premium for AWS nights.  We also have a $2000 sign-on bonus

Engineered Materials Solutions is a Manufacturing Company specializing in metals.  We are seeking skilled Industrial Millwrights to join our team.  We provide a safe and productive work environment.

Position Summary:

Performs routine repairs and maintenance and assists in more complex maintenance and repair of plant facilities and equipment. 

• Make routine, periodic inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery and equipment.
• Tests, inspects, troubleshoots and repairs machines and equipment
• Maintains repair logs
• Works from maintenance schedule
• Performs basic painting, machine and equipment repair, sheet metal fabrication and welding.  Troubleshoots equipment or facilities problems and report them to supervisor. 
• Uses variety of hand, power tools.
• Other duties as required.

Education and Experience:

• High School/Trade School
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills
