Position Details:
CRNA, Full time, 36-40 hrs./week, 2 weeks on - 2 weeks off, Call required.
Exempt, Salary, Non-Union
Benefited position after 500 worked hour introductory period is met.

Position Summary:

A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), in concert with physician, administers IV, inhalation, epidural, spinal and other anesthetics for surgical, obstetrical and other operative or pain management procedures. Responsible to record preoperative, operative and postoperative conditions.

Requirements

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current Oregon licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and CRNA in the state of Oregon. Completion of a 2-3 year anesthesia clinical residency program. Successful completion of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetist's certification exam. Current CPR, ACLS, PALS and NRP.

Experience:
Previous experience in critical care nursing. Past work experience should demonstrate leadership, managerial ability, good interpersonal relationships and the ability to apply sound principles of management.

Job Knowledge:
Proficient in all types of inhalation, regional anesthesia, analgesia, TIV anesthesia and sedation.

Skills:

Able to provide leadership in complex assignments and environments by organization and performance at a proficient level. Able to work independently. Function effectively and calmly in emergent situations. Demonstrate a positive and sympathetic attitude as an integral part of the health care team. Able to maintain confidentiality.
