SUMMARY:

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.

EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION:

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:30pm
• Location: 519 Pittsburgh Road, Butler PA 16002

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One year certificate from college / technical school
• Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company insurability standards.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications preferred
• Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist Certification preferred
• Complete and pass OSHA approved forklift training

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Prepares and expedites shipments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Back-up to Parts Delivery Driver as needed; pick-up and deliver parts or raw materials to/from our suppliers using a company-provided vehicle.
• Proper operation of equipment to safety and productivity requirements, including but not limited to: Lift truck or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
• Unpacks, examines, and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with the shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Able to receive and process all defective parts returned for replacement or credit (RMA). Check in and stock parts inventory and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to and promote all existing health and safety policies in the workplace to reinforce the Hunter culture of a safe work environment
