Press Helper

Day Shift – 6am – 2:30 pm Mon-Fri

4005 S Western Ave, Sioux Falls, SD.

MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 75 LBS.

Candidates should have prior work experience and strong time/attendance references.

As a press helper you will be a key team member helping press operators set up and operate a Goss Web Press to produce a quality printed product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist press operators with set up and operation of Goss Web Press through miscellaneous duties to ensure timely and high quality print products are completed.
• Complete roll changes as needed requiring the ability to lift up to 75 lbs on a regular basis.
• Jog, stack, and box completed print products.
• General cleaning in area and assist with equipment maintenance and upkeep as directed.
• Load/unload products, assist with inks and warehouse duties as needed.
• Work as a team to ensure print schedule is followed and quality checks are completed on a regular basis.
• Balance quality, productivity, cost and safety to achieve positive results.
• Assist with the operation of production bindery equipment as needed.
• Must follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) related to job function and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’S).
• Must comply with all company policies.
• Work OT hours as required.

Knowledge / Skills:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work well as a team to ensure production goals are met.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 75 lbs on a regular basis.
