What you’ll do: 

  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, notices and subpoenas.
  • Prepare witness and matter materials for attorney review.
  • Conduct various document searches and factual research using Westlaw.
  • Assist with preparations for depositions, hearings, mediations and trials.
  • Index and maintain files that are organized chronologically, numerically and/or by subject matter.
  • Organize and prepare exhibits, files and all other supporting documents for trial.
  • Manage document productions.
  • Work in Relativity, Concordance or other databases.
  • Summarize discovery responses.
  • Perform basic jury research.

What you bring:  

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior technology skills – must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and manage work load.
  • Initiative in handling projects and anticipating what needs to be done.
  • A desire to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others.
  • A high degree of professionalism and the ability to exercise good judgment.
  • Commitment to teamwork.
  • Two or four year degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited paralegal program with at least 3-5 years of experience.
