Certified Wound Care Nurse nurse needed at Auburn Village located in Auburn, Indiana Just north of Fort Wayne. This is a full-time position, with flexible hours. On-call, weekend and holiday rotation. If you are an experienced Wound Care nurse (certification preferred but not necessary) we would welcome the opportunity for you to visit our well-managed, beautiful facility in Auburn.


We offer a starting rate of $35 per hour with benefits, a sign-on bonus of up to $10k and mileage reimbursement if you drive more than 20 miles round-trip. If you waive our health insurance benefit, your starting rate would be $37 per hour


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Skin evaluation for pressure sore prevention
  • Medication application to existing wounds
  • Educate patients and family to care for wounds when discharged
  • Care for patient's surgical incisions, any pressure sores or wounds caused by disease or injury
Requirements:
  • Must have extensive post-acute wound care treatment experience.
  • Wound Care certificate or full certification a PLUS
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Indiana
  • Personable and professional demeanor with patients, families and staff
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient information
  • Must have compassion, understanding and tolerance for older adults
