Gluing Packer

POSITION PURPOSE: 

The Gluing Packer position is responsible for product quality, loading, packing, and machine paperwork. 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:   

• read and understand production control records 

• make quality decisions based on information provided 

• recognize the basic functions of all scanning equipment 

• load/pack on all finishing equipment 

• communicate well with operators and team  

• assist operator as needed 

• assist on other machines or departments while current machines are under repair 

• demonstrate positive/professional teamwork abilities 

• maintain optimum production levels and minimize downtime 

• maintain/apply all safety and clearance guidelines 

• concentrate on loading machines and/or packing product properly 

• keep work areas clean 

• other tasks/duties as assigned by manager or lead operator 

Position Qualifications: 

1. basic math and measurement skills 

2. basic ability to communicate in English 

3. flexible schedule according to customer needs (some weekends required) 

Minimum Requirements: 

• High School diploma or equivalent 

Physical Requirements: 

1. Ability to lift, push or pull 50 lbs. maximum 

2. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time (4-8 hours)
