Pool Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Pool Supervisor at Holiday Inn Fargo is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel's pool area and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for guests. This is a full-time position with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness, customer service, and safety. The Pool Supervisor will also be responsible for the Pool Hut Tiki Bar. Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the hotel's pool area, including maintenance, cleanliness, and safety.

• Monitor pool chemical levels, equipment, and water quality to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Hire, train, and supervise a team of pool attendants to provide excellent customer service and maintain a safe environment.

• Create and maintain schedules for pool staff, ensuring adequate coverage during all hours of operation.

• Handle any guest inquiries, complaints, or incidents related to the pool area in a professional and timely manner.

• Conduct regular meetings and safety training for pool staff to ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.

• Work closely with the hotel's housekeeping and maintenance departments to maintain cleanliness of the pool area and equipment.
  Prepare and manage the pool budget, including inventory and supply ordering.

• Maintain accurate records and reports related to pool operations and safety incidents.

• Stay updated on all local and state laws, regulations, and guidelines related to pool and spa operations.
  
  Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service and/or leading others

• Current CPR/First Aid training preferred.

• Knowledge of pool equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures.
  Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Strong leadership and team-building skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer programs.
