PsyFi TMS is a leading mental health clinic specializing in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy. We are dedicated to providing innovative and effective treatments for individuals struggling with various mental health disorders. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to delivering compassionate care and improving the lives of our patients.

 

The Behavioral Health Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a genuine passion for helping others.


Responsibilities:

  1. Front Desk Operations:

   - Greet patients and visitors in a warm and welcoming manner.

   - Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage appointment reminders.

   - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.

 

  1. Patient Intake and Registration:

   - Collect patient information, including personal and insurance details.

   - Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.

   - Assist patients with completing intake forms and paperwork.

 

  1. Billing and Payments:

   - Process patient payments, co-pays, and outstanding balances.

   - Coordinate with billing department to ensure accurate invoicing and billing information.

 

  1. Medical Records Management:

   - Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

   - Scan and file documents into patient records as needed.

   - Assist with record requests and transfers in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

 

  1. Patient Support and Communication:

   - Provide information to patients regarding clinic services, procedures, and treatment options.

   - Address patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.

   - Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care coordination.

 

  1. Administrative Support:

   - Assist with various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and inventory management.

   - Coordinate with other departments to facilitate efficient clinic operations.


Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.

- Previous experience in a medical or behavioral health setting is highly desirable.

- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and medical billing software.

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others.

 

Mental/Physical Requirements: Walking, Sitting, Bending, and Standing for extended periods of time. Able to lift and hold 20# without fatigue for brief periods of time. Able to operate a medical device with dexterity, including adequate hand-eye coordination and vision. Verbal clarity and adequate hearing
