POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated individual to join our team as an Alternative Investment Specialist. The Alternative Investment Specialist provides vital support to our Wealth Strategist teams and clients, through maintaining our investment offering workflows, processing investor trades, and hosting marketing events promoting new offerings to existing clients. The Alternative Investment Specialist partners with internal teams, advisors, investment sponsors, and custodians to create and maintain accounts for new and existing clients while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and client privacy.

Candidates need to possess strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment, in order to work effectively in a growing small business, contributing to documenting processes, developing SOPs, and assisting with training development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a liaison between clients, advisors, and investment sponsors, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients’ alternative investment needs
  • Track and communicate progress and investment updates to clients
  • Onboard new investment offerings to the firm platform
  • Develop and maintain relationships with investment sponsors
  • Maintain internal documentation on available offerings
  • Prepare and review new subscription documents, complete new trades, process funding of new investments, and perform a review of new holdings
  • Maintain accurate client records and record information in the company CRM
  • Execute service requests in conjunction with advisors and maintain appropriate follow-up
  • with sponsors, custodians, and clients
  • Assist with recurring audits, reporting, and projects as needed
  • Coordinate procedure updates for efficiency, accuracy, and completeness
  • Organize and market weekly Investment & Educational webinars(in the future)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • An interest in the financial services industry
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite
  • Adaptability and ability to learn new concepts quickly
  • Great problem-solving skills
  • Great customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to develop and deliver innovative ideas as the position grows
  • Capability to collaborate and work with teammates to accomplish daily deliverables
  • Series 7 or ability to obtain the Series 7 within 3 months of the start date (company sponsored)
  • Candidate must pass a background check and FBI fingerprinting

POSITION DETAILS

  • W2 Employee: $20/hr
  • Full Time
  • Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 PM MT with some flexibility
  • In-office position
  • 401(k): company contributes 5% with no contribution needed
