PGA Dentistry in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our professional team Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity? Look no further

Position Details:


  • Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning, and providing support as needed
  • Take and record patients' vital signs, medical history, and dental charting
  • Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient records as needed
  • Educate patients on dental treatments, proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care instructions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Assist with laboratory tasks such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
  • Lab case management
Skills:


  • Proficiency in dental practice management systems such as Dentrix
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
  • Ability to take accurate vital signs and record detailed medical history
  • Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology to assist the dentist during procedures
  • Understanding of infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
