Who we’re looking for:


We are seeking an experienced Platform Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and overseeing the architecture of technological platforms that support applications and services. The Platform Architect will collaborate with various teams to ensure the platform meets business requirements and technical specifications while maintaining scalability, reliability, and security.

 

What you’ll be doing:                                                                     

 

  • Architect the data platform blueprint and implement the design, encompassing relevant data platform components.
  • Collaborate with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure cohesive integration between systems and data models.
  • Create and implement scalable and reliable platform architectures.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on best practices for data platform design and implementation.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of the data platform to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Develop long-term strategies for platform development and maintenance.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to enhance platform robustness and scalability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in all aspects of data platform design and implementation.

 

What you need to know:

 

  • Strong knowledge and experience of software architecture and design patterns.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and technologies relevant to the platform.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to devise effective solutions to complex technical problems.
  • Strong communication skills to work with stakeholders, development teams, and other architects.
  • Experience in project planning, resource management, and timeline estimation.

 

Must have’s:


  • 10+ years of relevant work experience (Associates substitutes for 2 years of experience, Bachelor substitutes for 3 years of experience, Postgraduate substitutes for 6 years of experience)
  • Demonstrated expertise in data platform architecture and design.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, programming languages and technologies relevant to the platform
  • Ability to obtain and maintain customer required security clearance.
