  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine form dimensions and configurations.
  • Construct wooden forms for concrete structures such as foundations, walls, columns, and beams.
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood using hand and power tools to create accurate formwork.
  • Install formwork according to specifications, ensuring proper alignment and support.
  • Erect scaffolding and braces to support formwork during concrete pouring and curing.
  • Collaborate with other members of the construction team to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to specifications.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Form Carpenter or similar role.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings.
  • Strong carpentry skills with the ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of different types of formwork systems and their applications.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
