Job DescriptionJob DescriptionHot Forming OperatorPeoplelink Staffing Solutions is in partnership with a prominent automotive parts manufacturer in the LaSalle/Peru, IL area. We are seeking Hot Forming Operators to join their team This is a temp-to-hire position offering a wide range of perks such as health, dental and vision insurance.Hot Forming Operator Job Summary:
  1. Position starts at $21/hour.
  2. Training hours 6AM-2:30PM
  3. Temp-to-hire.
  4. Perform set up of equipment used in manufacturing hot formed products.
  5. Change various worn or damaged tooling when necessary. Record tool life when changing a tool.
  6. Verify product quality.
  7. Record product dimensions.
  8. Perform various maintenance on the machine when needed.
Hot Forming Operator Job Qualifications:
  1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  2. Some college courses in industrial manufacturing preferred.
  3. Previous experience in a manufacturing position preferred.
  4. Must have strong mechanical aptitude.
