Were a family-owned agency with a passion for helping seniors, focused on delivering personalized care solutions that allow our clients to maintain independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes. Our owners both have experience with parents suffering from dementia and therefore understand the importance of providing loving and skilled care for both the individual client and their families. Our owners, one who is a registered nurse, also love mentoring our team members and making sure each caregiver feels like theyre truly part of a team working in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Primary Duties:
Our caregiver team members are responsible for providing companionship and personal care that improves or maintains the quality of our clients lives. Duties include:
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment within the clients home. This may include light cleaning and straightening of bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas, washing dishes and doing the laundry.
- Performing personal care activities as listed in the clients Plan of Care. These may include assisting the client with personal hygiene, ambulation and exercise, eating, dressing, shaving, and physical transfers.
- Making meals and providing nutritional support.
- Documenting and reporting changes in the clients physical and mental condition.
- Conducting other activities that may be deemed necessary including:
- Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises;
- Coaching household routines and skills to client family members;
- Measuring intake and output of fluids;
- Measuring and recording temperature, pulse, respiration or blood pressure;
- Keeping records of personal health care activities;
- Observing appearance and behavioral changes in the client and reporting to the agency managers.
- Delivering medication in its previously dispensed, properly labeled container, from where it is stored to the client.
- In the presence of the client, reading the label, opening the container, removing the prescribed amount of medication from the container, and closing the container.
- Placing an oral dosage in the client's hand or placing the dosage in another container and helping the client by lifting the container to his or her mouth.
- Returning the medication container to proper storage.
- Keeping a record of when a client receives assistance with self-administration of medication.
Qualifications:
Two (2) years experience working in client homes or a care facility is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with our seniors on both a personal and professional level.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
