Objective: Lead engaging musical worship and supervise the execution of weekend gatherings at the Acworth location.


Personal Responsibilities:

  • Maintain God-ordained priorities in your life (Jesus, then spouse, then children, then ministry)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Be the spiritual influencer and example Worship and Production Serve Team Members (STM) can follow.
  • Lead as the primary song leader, music director, and gatherings manager for your location.
  • Build, develop, and maintain teams of musicians and singers, and audio, lighting, video, and CG operators.
  • Administer scheduling of musicians, singers, and production STM for all gatherings and special events.
  • Execute the weekend schedule as provided via the Central Gathering Plan on Planning Center Online.
  • Oversee the worship and production needs of Student and Young Adult ministries.
  • Organize and run rehearsals to ensure unity, quality, and consistency for the glory of God in all gatherings.
  • Utilize Worship and Production ministry champions to coach, train, and resource your STM.
  • Disseminate culture, vision, and strategy to Worship and Production STM as you love and care for them.
  • Manage the set-up, tear-down, and care of instruments and equipment used in a portable setting.
  • Ensure excellence in all areas of your ministry.
  • Steward the budget and all resources related to your ministry.
  • Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with your Direct Report and ministry leads with thoughts, ideas, and challenges.
  • Implement the Leadership Development Strategy to properly onboard new serve team members.
  • Adhere to and embody the qualities and characteristics required of employees as defined by the Employee Handbook.
  • Recruit, Prepare, Equip, and encourage your leaders to align with Crosspoint City's mission, values, and strategy.
  • Assist in the planning process, particularly concerning worship and production needs in Acworth.
  • Ensure the achievement of Ministry Action Plans (MAPs).
  • Cultivate and manage the onboarding process for Worship and Production Serve Team members in Acworth.
  • Ensure excellence in all areas of your ministry.
  • Steward effectively and efficiently the budget and all resources related to your ministry.
  • Position may require some travel.
  • Attend staff and departmental meetings on time, as requested and as required.
  • Participate in training as directed.


Requirements:

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:


This position encompasses indoor and outdoor environmental conditions. It necessitates the capacity for prolonged sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and flexible movement. Occasionally, lifting objects weighing up to 10 pounds with assistance may be required. Proficiency in operating a computer, phone system, and other office equipment is necessary.


Employment Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver's license and pass a background check.
  • Must have prior experience in a ministry environment.
  • Must have a strong knowledge of music, both vocally and instrumentally.
  • Must align with the doctrinal beliefs of Crosspoint City Church.
  • Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have a commitment to a team approach to ministry.
  • Must have a collaboration and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Must have the ability to be discreet in dealing with confidential matters and materials.
  • Must have the ability to interact with colleagues, supervisors, and members face to face.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English effectively.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of personal and church information.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar.

Expected Hours of Work:


This is a full-time position (40 hours a week). Days and hours of work consist of Sunday Gatherings in Acworth and in-person during normal office hours (Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm).
