Duties

  • Supervise center operations in the afternoon until closing.
  • Step in and confidently lead the center or any classroom when the Director or teachers are away, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Work alongside the Director on exciting daily tasks like welcoming new families with tours, supporting enrollments, assisting with marketing, and coordinating staffing.
  • Foster warm and meaningful connections with families to create a supportive and welcoming community.
  • Stay on top of state childcare regulations and center policies, keeping the environment safe, fun, and compliant.
  • Partner with staff to uphold the highest standards of care and education, ensuring classrooms meet center guidelines and state/local requirements.
  • Keep things organized with important record-keeping, including children’s files, staff records, class schedules, lesson plans, and more.
  • Jump into any classroom when needed, from infants to preschoolers, bringing joy and energy to the learning experience.
  • Continue growing professionally with a personal development plan, ensuring you’re always improving and staying at the top of your game.
  • Most importantly, share your genuine love for children and strong passion for early education every day


Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience working with children, where your love for working with young children shines.
  • High energy and enthusiasm to create a lively, engaging learning environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to easily connect with children, parents, and fellow staff members.
  • Great teamwork and organizational skills, helping keep the classroom running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Ability to complete a background check and health screening—we prioritize safety and well-being
